DGDA Approved Prescribing GuidelinesVibeg is indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency in adults.
The recommended dosage of Vibegron is one 75 mg tablet orally, once daily with or without food.
Use in Children: Safety and effectiveness of Vibegron in pediatric patients have not been established.
Vibegron is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Vibegron or any components of the product.
The most common adverse reactions of Vibeg include: Urinary tract infection, nasal congestion, sore throat or runny nose, nausea, headache, diarrhea, upper respiratory tract infection.
Urinary retention has been reported in patients taking Vibeg. Discontinue Vibeg in patients who develop urinary retention.
Vibegron is a potent, selective beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes the detrusor smooth muscle of the bladder, thereby increasing bladder capacity.
