📋 Indications & Uses

Kanamycin-POS-POS is in a group of drugs called aminoglycosides. It fights bacteria in the body. Kanamycin-POS-POS is used to treat serious infections caused by bacteria. Kanamycin-POS-POS may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.

💊 Dosage & Administration

1 drop several times a day (every 2 to 3 hours) into the conjunctival sac or as directed by physician.

⚠️ Contraindications

The drug must not be used
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to kanamycin sulfate or any of the other ingredients of the product.
A possible parallel allergy with other aminoglycosides must be taken into account.

⚡ Side Effects & Adverse Reactions

Like all medicines, the preparation can have side effects, although not everyone gets them. The frequency of side effects is based on the following categories:

Possible side effects of Kanamycin-POS-POS POS Eye Drop, In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions (fever, severe itching of the skin [pruritus), inflammatory skin rash [exanthema), increase in eosinophils in the blood (eosinophils belong to the group of white blood cells) [eosinophilia), painful swelling of the vessels in the skin and mucous membranes (angioedema J. inflammatory allergic skin reaction [contact dermatitis), nettle rash (urticaria]) occur, making it necessary to discontinue the preparation. Furthermore, insensitive germs can occur during the treatment. As with other antibiotics, prolonged use can result in an additional infection with non-Kanamycin-POS-POS-sensitive pathogens.
